Damn Pollen

Only washed it 4 days ago

Surely there's a product that can ionise the metal or something to stop the pollen sticking/being attracted to the cars.

Just sold my mx5 last week and the BRG paint on it seemed to be an enormous magnet, had to wash it once a day for 3 days for viewings. Lucky it sold quick.

In my part of Germany. The pollen has been horrific. The darn stuff is so sticky. I finally broke out the clay bar. Washed the Zed and the wife's 328 left them wet and started rubbing away with the clay. That did the trick. Put on an extra coat of wax to buffer the paintwork.

I sure hope the trees get done mating soon. I'm tired of sticky stuff on everything. Maybe tree condoms would be in order.

Cheers

I can say for the first and probably only time.

I am glad i haven't got my Z4 yet!!.
This morning I found my current car completely coated in the stuff, despite washing and polishing it last night it looks like it has been in the sahara. :o

Hopefully this was all end before my car gets delivered. ( I am also hoping that my Z4 is being built indoors in Regensberg, rather than exposed to the pollen sitting in the lot waiting for transport  ...else i will need to pay for a paint correction)

...and by next year, hope to have a garage!

i gave mine a quick rinse this afternoon again, no point over doing it cos its still blowing all over the place

Part of the reason I didn't clay the car on Monday. Y'all should go to the desert, you get quite the huge layer of sand on the car every day. On a side note, California car duster does pretty well to help you avoid washing.

Damn so that's what it was.

My car had been on my parents drive for 2 weeks undriven... I washed it before I went away and noes its all yellow.

I thought it was sand from the neighbours having an extension up the road.
