Dammit!

Last Thursday was a bad day. Email to all salaried associates that the company was cutting heads, and Friday we would all be told about our future.....not good but been through it before. Thursday night, I decide to wash the M and have a beer or six to take my mind off things. While washing the passenger side door, found that someone had opened their car door into mine. :headbang:

I haven't gotten around to taking photos yet (sort of can't bear to look at it long enough to do that). But there are 3 dings in a vertical line up the middle of the door panel. Stopped by the dealer on Saturday to see if they thought the Dent Wizard folks could get them out. No real creases, and no paint loss. The SA said he thought it would be "no problem" but just wondering about the door structure getting in the way. I know hard to say without pics and I will post them - maybe tonight.....

Anyone had their door fixed by these guys or with similar techniques?

Oh yes, I'm still employed so that's a bonus..... :D

I have used dent wizards before on previous cars with great results. One thing I can tell you is that the location of the dent is very important in determining if they can fix it. Take it into a shop and they can tell you in 20 seconds if they can fix it.

Glad to hear your still employed.

Thanks - I made out better than one guy here. Friday morning he was given his 20-year service award, and Friday afternoon he was let go. Brutal!

Ouch x2. The car & work.... I would agree with Burt Reynolds & visit the guys at Denty Wizard. Let us know how it works out.

Geez, what have you done for us lately. 20 years, thats nice, now beat it! Glad to here you made it.

o, how i wish they hit my door!

And the real pisser was i was parked out in BFE! It was like they drove out there just to ding me!

but hey at least you still have a job! :driving:

Update - well the car went in to have the dents looked at yesterday, and honestly you can't tell they were ever there - seriously they did a great job and it wasn't expensive either.

And thanks to all for the comments on the job.....although part of me is now wishing they had given me a package since everyone's workload has gone up considerably to pick up the work of the people who were let go. Oh well.

Which branch did you take it to?
