I just replaced my passenger xenon leadlight unit as my current one's rear casing was cracked and started to let excess water in - bugging up the ballast.
Anyways last year I took it out, dried it up and siliconed the heck out of it. I then realised the plastic door which you take off to access the ignitor and bulbs was also dodgy and catch which holds it firm was snapped! Anyways I tried my best to secure it and it lasted a year - but now failed again - so I got a replacement unit.
So my old unit is poss going up for sale as many parts in it are still good -
- The silver inner lining (it came off my M)
- the ignotor
- the OEM xenon buls
- the internal electrics (there were unaffected by the water ingress)
So just wondered how much I could sell it as a unit? Or if its better to sell as parts?
