Damaged Piano Black Dash Trim

My current car came with the big dash trim damaged and I finally replaced it on Thursday. I thought I would offer this for free to forum members who want to try something before attempting the same with their actual trim piece.

This will be binned soon if nobody wants it.

Probably the big lump of gloss missing near the vent/ radio area !

Now you have pointed it out i can see it was pretty hard to see on the phone.
Should be an easy fix really

Both sides damaged by the looks

Yes, both sides are damaged. The piano black veneer was cracked on both sides and partly lifted from the wood, I ended up breaking them off.

I don't know how easy this would be to fix, I didn't think it would be too easy, so never considered it. I thought this might be useful for someone who wants to use this as a test piece for wrapping/painting/leather trimming.
