Damaged passenger rear sill slightly - need advice!

I just bought a 2007 BMW Z4M roadster the other day which is superb condition apart from a small stonechip on the bumper. However, I stopped at a services on the way home and managed to pull into a parking bay where there was a boulder to the left side that was out of sight. I managed to scrape along in three places, but on the good side its only scratched and not dented and it only touched the sill.

I spoke to the local BMW bodyshop and they said estimate around £250 to fix. Does this sound about right or am I better off taking it somewhere else. My thinking is they could fix the stoneship at the same time. The whole thing is quite guitting when you've just spent £20k+ but I've certainly learnt my lesson and it could have been worse!!

A picture may help... I recently dented my nearside wing and bumper and that was 500-600 + VAT from a non BMW shop...

I understand the sill is plastic - do you reckon taking it to a BMW bodyshop is the only real "safe" option? It's livable and not even noticable with slight mud after a few miles but I just have to get it fixed!!

Actually taking it to the BMW bodyshop is the last place I'd go. They are expensive and IMHO not as good as local paintshops or specialist accident repair centres. The sill is plastic, unclips and can be painted and refitted easily.

I paid £160 to have both of mine restored and resprayed so I'd say £100 for one should be right.
