Damaged M Bonnet (eBay)

Crikey, someone got a good deal as it really doesn't look bad at all.

wondering if they realised the value and removed to put the price up.....

The listing says no longer available, does that mean it was taken down rather than sold?

I saw a set of red M sport seats, electric memory and heated and in good condition with door cards as well, on eBay yesterday for £350! Before I could decide if I really needed them the listing changed to no longer available. Unsure if they sold or the seller realised he was around £400 off on price!

Says listing was removed, not ended, possibly a scam. After all, there would be no shortage of buyers!

Lot of ads for classic cars on ebay at the moment all starting at 99p - got to be a scam its not about selling cars because the same ones keep appearing its the 'email' for further details. Can't see it being anything but a scam to get your email which in many cases is an almost direct line to your PC and bank account.

If its too good to be true its too good to be true - as they say.

Hi guys

I bought the bonnet after seeing Darkangelv2's post. Hopefully everything is legit. The seller's feedback checks out and he offered me the option of collection too (which I decided against as delivery worked out more cost effective).

Everything was completed through the normal eBay channels - no outside payment or dodgy requests were made.

A big thank you to Darkangelv2 for putting up the post - really looking forward to getting the bonnet sorted ready for my car!

Mike

Take care when you get body parts from ebay. Got a bonnet that looked great in the picture but it was damaged in transit. Only able to claim back money from courier for the transport not the goods so make sure you have full insurance.

Wow you got a real bargain
I believe the bonnet is aluminium so it's a little harder to repair. In the right hands not a problem though.

The M bonnet really makes the car IMO. Looking forward to pictures once it's fitted.

MBz4 you have done very well, even in that condition its worth a 3x that easily.... probably quite abit more.

I’ve just done the front bumper but couldn’t bring myself to keep spending!

You’re very welcome, let us know how you get on with it 👍🏼

I dare say the seller did. They are £900 in primer from the dealers now. Sent mine to Poland
