Just come out this morning to find someone has knocked the front of the Z4! The NS light is out of alignment and the bumper and wing are scuffed.

Very annoyed!!

Gutted for you :-( some a.holes out there.

If you do a search there's plenty about taking off the bumper. Basically just a number of screws to remove which you can find locations for on other threads. The only bit you need to be careful with is you need to put a bit of force to detach the bumper from the wing and don't forget about the feeds for the washer jets if you have them for the lights.

I'd also out something soft under the bumper for when you remove it so it doesn't drop.

Cheers. I'll be a lot happier once I get stuff lined up. Scratches can be fixed. I hope I can get the lights sorted.

Wing is easy to remove once bumper is off.

three bolts along the top, two at the very bottom, one behind where the bumper attaches. three along the door panel, one from the door side and two from within the wing. You can access them from within the indicator.

Possible the cross member has been knocked out of line if the panels no longer fit  although there is a lot of room to play who in terms of bumper height positioning on top of the front panel/ cross member so might not be an issue.

The panels look fine, it's the light that is out of alignment.

How do the side skirts and indicators come off?

No new rivets needed. All reusable.

If the headlight is out if alignment I'll bet the brackets are broken. Can be plastic welded back. If you take the headlight off put penetrating oil on the 3 bolts else you really risk shearing them as they corrode in.
