Damage to under tray

I went over a speedbump a little too fast and kinda ripped some of my passenger side under tray off. Just wondering if anyone knows what this wire connecting to it does and if I need to replace it urgently. I can’t think of what exactly it is even used for…

What about the actual plastic bit the sensor fits into. Can i just replace that small piece and if so where can i buy it?

If you have a plastic welder and all the pieces, it is possible to stick it back together; otherwise it’s the left hand lower splash guard that you have to replace. They are rarely available in good condition, so you may just have to bite the bullet and order one from your dealer. I think they are around £130. Easy to replace, although it’s a bumper-off job.

Speak to Stuart (bigwinn). He has a pair for sale.
