It's being entered into the World Rally Champs. Not sure if it's this year or next as the Dakar one out now is a bit of a test mule for 2011.

It's basically the X3 Rally Raid car with a different body! BMW are reported to be dropping the X3 next year in competition in favour of the MINI Countryman.

Didn't seem to fare too well either, lots of problems and broken bits!

It is a bit of a joke though, that some folks will rush out and buy a Mini Countryman on the back of the appearance of this space-frame one-off that bears absolutely no resemblance to what they are getting! :?

Still, a fool and his/her money etc.....
