Daily is now Run-in!

After nearly a decade of 4 cylinder turbo-diesel BMWs I finally realised straight 6 petrol power is what I should have had all along!

So once I got my first Z4C I realised I needed a vaguely practical daily, so I bought an E46 325ti (I mean, it's only in Band K for RFL). :lol:

I like to think of it as the pre-facelift Z4 2+2 that BMW never built!

Anyway coming home on Thursday night I finished running it in! For a 15 year old car on that mileage I still can't believe how well it drives!

I had the 320d Compact as a daily for a while. I liked to think of it as the ultimate light weight E46 coupe! They're perfectly nice cars and handle reasonably well when pushed hard.

Funny you mention that - my first BMW was a 320td Compact that I had from 2005 to 2008!

But when I got my 325ti I realised I should have test driven one of those before I bought the 320td.
