Daily drives

Fastest washing machine I have ever seen... Second best car I have ever owned!
They aren't really my cup of tea, however the owners of them do always sing their praises from what I read though.

Daily driver is another sports car, a Pontiac Solstice coupe. Weighs less than the Z4MC and with more power is also quicker (I have modified it to have 375 bhp out of the 2.0 Ecotec and it weighs about 100 kg less than the BMW).

I think you posted the wrong picture....all I can see is a washing machine. :D

It has a split personality in any case, it doesn't know whether to be on the path or on the road

My 18 year old daughter thinks that owning one of those (can't write the word as I hate them soo much) means you are rich!

But she's 18 and knows nothing about anything! :)

Definitely not rich! Which one have you driven to make you hate them?

None. I just hate EVs and in particular the Teslas cos they are fugly as well as powered by the wrong stuff!

IMO people only drive EVs because it saves them income tax in one form or another. The tax dodge will change soon, then what?

Personally, the tax was a benefit when I first had it as a company car. I then loved it so much I bought it! Just over 3 secs 0-60, close to 500bhp equivalent and no servicing costs. I was not a fan until I drove one out of curiosity and was then converted. Each to their own I guess!

There we go...I rest my case.

Yes, ETTO but do you not think it looks like a box on wheels? Developed by us all being ripped off by Paypal charges.
Everybody who extols the virtues of EVs always quote the acceleration times. They have no soul, or heart. Cars for enthusiasts need a certain 'something' but electricity has never provided that for me, in any shape or form. I think my wife may disagree. :o

Like I said, each to their own. I don’t care if a car or bike is powered by petrol, diesel, electric or the gas from my farts, if I enjoy driving it or riding it, I am happy!

Love that pvr 😍 we’ve had 3! Currently in a 500 Riva altho it’s on the market to create funds for something new

I went back in time and found my old post on this thread where I said my Z4M will always be my daily. But, soon after that I purchased a little 182 for daily duties (I cycled to work at that point, so not a great argument!) and trackday fun. It's currently trying to bankrupt me, but it's so much fun to drive I keep throwing money at it. :driving: Z4M has been put to the back of the drive for those special days or road trips

In summer, I will commute in this albeit infrequently.

I didn’t realise you have a Caterham, is it a recent acquisition? I’ve had a Westfield track car for 20 years now and there’s no comparison for driving experience :driving:
Nice one! 8)

Yes and I've only had it since last September so I'm still getting to know it. I'm really looking forward to the better weather now for sure. :)

You will love it, when you get an open road....Its such a raw experience, my Westy has around 200bhp, but much less than half the weight of the Z4.
