I was on the Google images goose chase looking at MORR and HRE alloys, and I came across one of our forum cars with a close up... and I noticed this trim here... my car doesn't have this, is this OEM or aftermarket? Anyone have any idea where to source it from? Reason I ask is that my headlight gaps are slightly uneven due to a previous replacement headlight unit, this would do the job nicely!!

I don't think that's trim, just the structure behind the bumper. You can sort the placement of the headlight really easily if you take the bumper off, just two screws that you untighten and can then slide the fixing around. Though I think it can be a bit of fiddling around to get it just right.

I had mine into an indie a few days back and he reckons the front carrier is slightly off, he did all he could but there's still an uneven gap. Unless I'm going blind that to me looks like a rubber seal of some type.
Yea it's dubsesd's coupe, an early shot from years back. I would PM him but he doesn't seem very active so figured this might have had a quicker response if it was a commonly known item, if an item at all.

mine just has an unsightly gap that looks shite.

Mine doesn't look shite as it's a beautiful car :P ... But mine has a gap at the bottom too. You couldn't really see it on my black car, but on silver it's just obvious is all.

If you have more than a 2 or 3mm gap between the bonnet and the bumper when it's closed you could try loosening the 6 or 7 hex bolts, pushing the bumper in a bit and tighten them up again. Needs constant pressure whilst you tighten the to keep it there, but may pull things up a bit ?

Well assuming the indie tried everything in his power to straighten it up, I can only assume its my carrier thats wonky. So if this seal/trim doesn't exist I may inquire into getting some made...from...somewhere :?
The gap between bonnet and bumper is fine, its the gap between the bottom of the headlight and bumper thats off. Exactly as pointed in the image. One headlight is normal, the other has ~5mm more of a gap.
