DAB Plus Stations - BMW DAB OEM

Hi All

I have just got myself a 59 plate e89 and this has come with the BMW DAB Radio option..... DAB stations work fine however, i'd doesn't seem to pick up the dab plus stations.... my 19 plate audi sat on the same drive does :-(

has anyone else come across this and been able to fix

does it need a new aeriel or bmw headunit to receive these stations?

DAB+ was only validated in 2007...so the E89 didn’t catch it in time..only DAB is supported by the onboard DAB unit..

Thats a shame, oh well will have to live with using tunein, via android auto via my tunai bluetooth dongle via an aux cable

You could just listen to BBC radio channels

That's how I used to do it, only I used the Tune2Air Bluetooth module so had steering wheel control of tracks
