Yes yes yes that’s all very good Bear but that was 30yrs ago when you had proper job eyes and you can’t now travel to Inkey$ house even if you can still see 6 yards in front of you now can you.....bloody useless post...... :wink:

Now that's a skill!
And a skill I wish ida had early on in my nuclear engineering career when my then-boss shamed me into appreciating the importance of being accurate.
When he asked for a dimension on something I was designing for MOX/Sellafield at the time I said 'It's aroundabout 2.5mm at that point'.
To which he retorted 'We don't do aroundabout fookin anythin 'ere young man, we're fookin nuclear. Do you know what that fookin means?? We're micron fookin tolerances lad, microns!!'
I wish the ground would have swallowed me up! :lol: :roll:

I use a meguires da with hex pads & ultimate compound polish, it seems to work well but that’s the limit of my experience
