It's ok Jonny, it's the Internet I won't loose sleep over some kid I've never met and I'll never meet. You're a bit of a dope which is why I like winding you up, banging on about how your car is the best, nobody else's compares, you have to make a point about telling us every little thought that comes into your head, highlighting the fact it's a garage queen or whatever and only gets treated to the best etc. Even though you have a nice tidy car there are better cars than yours on here, people who clean and maintain their cars to perfection, people who do one off mods like tablets in the dash or put together how to threads and people who put together some impressive engineering skills with conversions and superchargers. Rather than paying someone to do it.....

What you do with your money is your choice, I've been there when I rebuilt an import DC2-R, but I along with many others on here have experience and regrets at wasting money on a car but you don't want to listen to anyone's advice when you don't have much of a clue yourself. You put these posts up just waiting for that one person who agrees with you so you feel better about spending mega money. You come across as someone who has to have all this stuff just to say your car has it, one up-manship if you like, which runs a lot of people up the wrong way, hence why you get negativity in your posts now.

So the feeling is mutual, Im not so keen on you either...... :rofl:

It is quite insulting to other owners the way he bangs on about how his car is way better/ shinier/ handles better/ runs better/ more mods than anybody elses.
Also berating other models he knows nothing about.
The car is nice but to me it doesnt jump out as special.

I've been watching this & the other JE post without comment... it's about time I said my bit!

I like the Z4-Forum and its generally a nice place to be, but if JE wants to spend all this cash on his z'd, so what! I think we all should suck it up as we all know JE will do whatever he wants and rightly so.. Maybe JE has posted repeated posts, members are still commenting so surely they are not wasted posts? I'm sure there has been positive remarks in some way or the other thats helped him out?

On a personal level I think JE's car is nice, the red roof & interior does nothing for me, but its not my car.... I respect all the hard work & money that he has put in and would never take his commitment away, he is one dedicated Z4 owner.

I'm sure I've repeated posts at some point, I'm sure we all have. Personally I mod my car for my own pleasure & it's nice to have pleasant comments back from other enthusiasts, I've had some comments recently slating my aero kit and how offensive it looks? But I like it.... who cares! I've always wanted the full aero & 313's since the day I purchased it 2.5 years ago...

Maybe there is a hint of jealously amongst the ranks?

Not sure whos jealous? Everything I've wanted to do to my Z I've done, I bought a low miled minter with a decent engine, I know how to detail/maintain a car and take it to the main dealer when it requires.

I don't think people are jealous at all. Anyway I and others have had their say, Jonny is free to do what he wants.

In the dutch z3/z4 community a car with that colorcombination (silver body/red roof) has a special name:

a 'Little Red Riding Hood' :wink:
