Please tell me I’m not alone in finding these an absolute pig to fit. I’m sure they don’t need to be that hard.
Jack the car up, open the hatch, but there is no way anyone is getting in the light access without unscrewing the arch lining too.
Taking out the old bulb was easy enough, save for the stupid access to it.
Fitting the new ones? I found it literally impossible. Both sides I cannot get the bulb straight so the connector faces down at six o’clock like the old ones did, they’re out of line at maybe four to five o’clock. No amount of swearing, contortion, bleeding, strategic breaks, or brute force, will get them so the connector is facing six o’clock.
Any tips? Definitely a job I wish I had paid someone to do.
