D side window cable .

Hi all .
Yesterday I heard a horrid sound when putting my window down , sounded like the cable snapping .
After looking for the fix I came across the cable repair £20 ish .
Has anyone used this to repair the cable ?
Do I need to buy a complete regulator for mad money .
Any help or info would be appreciated.

You could try the repair kit, some members on here have had success with it but not many. I tried the kit twice (yes, i bought 2 :roll: ) After that i bought a new regulator. They are a bit pricey though. Why not post on the market place part of the forum, someone might have a spare.

I've got a used one sorted now , I've also got a repair cable on the way I'm gonna have a play and if successful will keep it as a spare ..

Well I guess you check the replacement and if needed fit the new cable to that while it's on the bench?
