P ph001 Veteran N. Yorkshire. May 4, 2018 #5 If idle is lumpy and rough and it stutters a bit when you blip the throttle then it will almost certainly be either the eccentric shaft sensor or the valvetronic motor. The motor failure seems particularly prevalent on the 2.0l models.
