Cut off by a coach driver

Watched the Video 5 times.
Seems like normal city driving.
Hard to drive a coach is such conditions.

OP maybe needs to give way a bit more to large vehicles.

I know the plod over here wouldn't be interested in this seemingly legal indicated manoeuvre.

Did you want to over take him as he was already in-front of you ?

There was no space to pull in front of the coach ?

The coach driver did under take you at low speed that's all I can find against.

Watched it a couple of times and really cannot see what the fuss is about. Coach driver was clearly indicating and come on are we all so perfect we are in the right lane each and every time especially when we might be unfamiliar with the area.

racing incident !! the stewards wouldnt give it house room, nor would the police. I see a load worse than that every week, quite normal in london :poke:

All the OP had to do is adopt the self preservation principle and hold back and let the coach driver go on his way. To me its making something out of nothing. Saw something similar the other morning, traffic light junction with left and right lanes, an artic was in the right hand lane but with left indicator on. To me as I was sitting behind the artic it was plain to see he was in the right lane as he wouldn't be able to turn left without majorly cutting the corner and mounting the pavement and taking railings with him. However this didn't stop people flying through on his inside to a point a daft young girl thought she could still push through as the artic was turning left. Once her brain had clicked into place even though she had seen the arctic indicating left she still tried to push though now in his blind spot and had nowehere to go except up onto the pavement. If she had used forethought and held back no dramas. People are simply to impatient and bloody minded leading to poor and dangerous driving.

Tim.

Got feedback from the police.

Here's the map:

https://www.google.pl/maps/@52.2231161,21.0156817,60m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

1) Before the junction there are constant lines - no lane changes.

2) under the Polish road code, no lane changes are allowed at the junction - even though no lines are painted where the roads cross

3) immediately after there is a broken line on my side and a constant line on his side; he cannot cross into my lane, but this is exactly where he first indicates and starts pushing into my lane

The reason why the lines don't allow him to change the lane is that the left lane is usually packed by cars turning left (not the case that day), so the natural flow is to drive forward and smoothly merge at the mouth of the next road, where the usual right of way applies (there I would've had to let him through). As the coach driver obviously muscled his way much earlier, exactly where the constant line started, the case will go to court and a penalty will be imposed. In urban areas you cannot overtake on the right anyway - as he might've attempted just after the traffic lights. Mere politeness would've sufficed - just slow down and indicate. I'm not in a hurry.

so next time he will just follow his course and push you into oncoming traffic as you try to merge into his lane after the crossing (crossing plac konstytucji/koszykowa).
That merge lane strip is about 10m long, so on the middle of that crossing he'll swing a bit to the left to follow his path, cutting you off and doing that completely legal, as you are then the one that as to merge in (you're on the right lane).
With any luck he'll scuff your bumper and you have to pay for his damage as you're the one driving next to him on his lane.

Remember, after the traffic light at crossing plac konstytucji/koszykowa (so the second set of traffic lights) he can bump into you and it's your fault. After that second set of lights, it's technically his lane.
At least, that's my pov.
And imho there is no situation of overtaking on the right. You're both in front of traffic lights.
The only thing that is not acording to the rules is that he crossed a non intermitted line. But it's either that or pushing you off the road (without indicators, no need) after the the 2nd set of traffic lights.
