Hello everoyne,
Today for some reason, I took a knife and butchered the OEM s**t knob to an extent that it is now a short shifter. Will provide pics tommorow but so far I can tell you that that thing owns.
"All" you have to do is:
1) remove the plactic sleeve from inside the knob
2) make a deeper hole inside the "foamy" inside of the knob
3) re insert the plastic sleeve which is now deeper in the knob then before and glue it to the foamy inside part
4) cut off excess material from the bottom of the knob and your ready to go
Mine had a broken pice inside that made ir renvolve round and round, i fixed that by inserting a piece of metal that I heated up and placed into the foam so that it locks into the metal stick coming out of the transmission (had to remove that R-1-2-2-3-4-5 emblem on top). So far I am more than happy, my driving experience just got a better, my knob is not broken anymore, in fact it is now a short shift.
