Custom Front Splitter

Hi,
I'm really enjoying my SE Coupe however I'd like a bit more focus on the steering. To avoid changing the suspension I'm going to go down the road of fitting a front splitter. Porsche's new 4.0 RS have them on the outside edge of the front bumper so that's my first thought but I really like the tea trays, with fixing bracket, that span the whole front length.
My question is where can I get hold of one. Are they off the shelf or do I need to find a bespoke manufacturer.
And if so, who's done it before?
Just looking for a bit more front end bite.
Cheers, Jon

Jon,

Welcome to the Forum.

For splitters to work they need to be aerodynamically matched car. Not many manufacturers do this - they just produce an expensive bolt on extra which may look good but actually does nothing and can even make matters worse! If you find a bespoke manufacturer then you will need to be reassured they have carried out the necessary aerodynamic development work to ensure that they have the desired effect. Could be expensive especially if you go down the CF route. good luck!
