Going to have to disagree with you there. As far as I can remember WJK has without fail had stricter sanctions in place than Boris de Waffle at any point throughout this whole sh!tstorm including the current and possible next stages.
I think you were actually agreeing! I was being sarcastic. WJK (like the abbreviation) has faired MUCH better than Boris (if you wouldn't mind, thanks awfully) Johnson in this whole fiasco IMHO. She does still have an agenda, though! :o

Oh, she most definitely has an agenda and how well she’s performing against him may well swing it in her favour this time but I’m here for the cars and for a bit of craic with like minded enthusiasts and not get into politics so back to cars and associated nonsense :poke:

Yes, sorry Andy. I want to see this 35is too.

NOT NOW - common sense dictates you wont realise its full value.

What colour is your cat OP? Pic would be good

Thanks for your thoughts, guys. Some very helpful PoVs.

I think I'll hang fire until the sun starts to shine a little, which may be a tad optimistic given I'm in Scotland :D

For those asking, here's a couple of photos taken from the dealer's original brochure.

Nice example 8)
car buying / selling has continued throughout the pandemic no matter location so ignore the doomers & gloomers .
I sold my Z4C & bought my TTRS last December both done remotely , my son bought a £22k Q3 last month from a dealer 200 miles away , yes it takes more interaction re exchange of details & info but once you have established trust & both parties are 100% sure then its just logistics from there .
Polish it up & list it for what you want , i don't see any value difference waiting , buyers are out there , you just need to work out the best way to do it between yourselves

Precisely.

Waiting makes no sense, unless you are paying per week or month for an ad.

List it for sale at the price you want, leave it a while then begin reducing to sell later in the year if no interest.

It’s a great looking car, and not many about.

Another one in favour for going for it. We bought a new daily three weeks ago from a VW dealer nearly 200 miles away trading in our old car. New car was delivered as described and with the usual warranty. Delivery guy disinfected the new car on arrival with one of these aerosol bombs which took about ten minutes. I then inspected the car confirmed I was happy and off he went with my old car. I got a great deal and was very happy with the whole experience.

Don’t delay, sell today....

Budget imminent, vaccine rolling out, foreign holidays looking possible again later this year... lots of reasons people’s spending habits could change significantly in the relatively short term. Second hand car market been booming, can’t see it lasting when people’s money starts disappearing elsewhere.

It’s a bit of a gamble, but I bought a lovely E89 earlier this year completely remotely

Please be sure to inform any potential purchaser of your beautiful car that he is limited to driving it at 70 m.p.h.
Anything else would be Illegal..   and you know how none of us break that law either
Good luck with your sale, looks like a cracker
Mike

It's a good time to sell. People will want to buy a fancy car before things open up again. There's also a lot of funny money about still as you can see with the housing market. Many white collar workers have done well out of COVID so good news for second hand convertibles sales.

Stop rubbing it in

Not meaning to... heard a rumour you were considering Quattro power :?
That’s an option I’m looking at however considering other avenues also. Not going to derail the OP’s thread with details here.

On the initial question posted I’d agree with what’s already been suggested - put it up for sale, sit back and see what happens
