Curbed

I know it's a bad time, but sometimes getting the first curbing or door ding out of the way can allow you to enjoy the car a bit more without worrying about it.

I like to break my duck early then I don't spend too long trying not to do it :D

lol, i curbed the first 1 strainght away, i fitted the wheels, turned round and curbed the front near side, that was truely heart breaking lol- that hurt as much as the mrs leaving me lol

i washed mrs w's golf today & noticed a light kerb rash on the 18's i fitted new a few months back .
so is it better to damage your own wheels or have them damaged by others ?

mr wilks, better to have them damaged by others. Same outcome but you don't feel so bad. Plus the Mrs now owes you one :D

Wise words

Ouch... not a nice feeling at all.

I had a bit of a moment parking on the street a couple of weeks back but was relieved to see no alloy damage. It was only when I was leaving London yesterday that I noticed that a big chunk of rim protection has been "sacrificed" on my n/s front tire. Really not liking the Bridgestone RFTs but they do seem to be pretty good in this respect.
