Thinking about ordering these two cupholders:

Does anyone have any photos of these? Do they take up a lot of space? Are they awkward? I'm not really sure how they fit/fold away.

i have the same already fitted in mine, once they are pushed in they are flush to the dash and you dont know they are there! Have to be honest though, they came with the car, i rarely use them and wouldnt buy them if i didnt already have them
 
Ok thanks! Might just get 1 actually (who cares about the passenger :lol:), I do like a hot coffee on a longer drive!

You will also need the cover plate which attach to the front of the holder. From memory these are about £12 each from Sopers in Lincoln :)
 
Saddo as I am, i bought them from Elmes BMW as a retro fit for mine as I couldn't bear the thought of spilling a cup os Starbuck's best over the seats /carpet. Considering how skim they are, they do a great job and are pretty sturdy once you get the hang of the wind-in clamp. As previously stated, when folded away into the sockets, you just don't know they are there. Same look ad the blanking plates that were there before.

Bought mine off here and fitted them last week before driving 200 miles to Yorkshire and back. Great hit with both my wife and I. May not be the most robust, but great having something to hold a lage latte and no spills. :thumbsup:

There is ayoutube video on fitting which is good. Hardest part was getting the air vent out. Takes a lot of careful wiggling. Go for it :driving:
