Cupholders

I don't like driving with the armrest up, and it's awkward getting to the drinks, they are almost behind you.....

I have to say that cupholders dont bother me - I'm not a great fan of them. I dont fancy spilling a hot coffee on my bits and If I want to drink I'll stop and have one!

Is that me in a minority of one????

I never take a drink in the car because of the stupid cup holders!!! Otherwise I'd take a plastic bottle if I had to,,..

I have the same ones as Carol in my right-hand-drive car.

They're not in the most convenient of places. As others have said - it's nicer to drive with the armrest down and the backwards stretch with my left hand to pick up my drink is slightly akward.

Despite that, I'm glad to have them rather than not.

Mine are the other side as well...cups on the right, phone cradle on the left. Weird! My e90 had ones that flipped out from the dash.

Saw a picture of a 6 series the other day and I think they are in front of the gear stick bit, where our cigarette lighter is...that's much better, but I don't think the e89 has room.

I sit corrected...my cups are on the left and phone cradle on the right...emptied everything out of car today (to try and find rattles) and noticed I had it wrong.
