If you want a cupholder symbol this is the most expensive piece of plastic you'll ever buy:

I think I'm climbing the ranks of the most clueless car owner pretty fast lol!

Nope, sorry - the most expensive bit of plastic you will ever buy is a side clip for the bumper - not much more plastic, £25. Or possibly worse, the silver cover for your door grab handle, £27.

A tenner for a faceplate is not a lot really, is it ? I am pretty sure cannibalising the blanking plate won't work, but probably worth a try. Unless you want to keep it intact in case you ever sell your Z and buy another and want to take the holders with you. Or just sell them separately on here as you'll get decent money for them I'd guess. Decisions decisions :D

Doh forgot to check this morning sorry, will post pics of the plastic this weekend

Side clip for bumper sounds like a bargain :P

Those plastic panels are completely different on the backs, you need the cup holder one for the cupholder unfortunately.

One of my cupholders broke and i ordered a new one which will probably come without the faceplate with the drink sign. Is there a way to remove the faceplate from my old cupholder and put it on the new one or i have to buy a new faceplate?

The thing is that i am currently in Edinburgh, my car is in Greece and i have to make the order of the new faceplate ( if necessary) from Edinburgh and take it with me back to Greece when i return for Christmas holidays. In the meantime i will not have the time to check my car that is why i am asking. So I can use the faceplate i have. That is good news Thanks!
