Cup holders.

Thanks all, it’s in stratus Grey & I don’t want to tinker with it too much as I think they look great anyhow but I wouldn’t mind some Carly coding done. I’ve posted on the correct thread for anyone who has it in Cumbria & I’m willing to pay.
The car is pretty basic inside:
No heated seats
No sat nav
No controls on steering wheel
No parking sensors
No powered seats
No auto lights
No cup holders!
I’m not too bothered as it does have the sweet 6 cylinder engine!
I’m guessing the original buyer skimped on extras to put their money into the bigger engine.

I'd put heated seats at the top of the list as well but its one of the more expensive mods because its the Msport electric heated seats you want - not just headed seats. They turn the roadster (in combination with the volcano that is the cabin heater) into an all year round drop top on any dryish day summer or winter; day or night.

Having the top down transforms the drive & makes you (in my opinion) just want to go out & drive the thing, anywhere will do!
I’ll just have to wear a warm coat & maybe a hat!

A wild guess, but I suspect you may not have cruise control either!

But in Cumbria that may not be such a problem - down my way it's all "Smart" (my A*se) motorways and average speed cameras on A Roads, where it does come in handy.

im not sure i would use cruise anyway,, at steady revs you lose the snarl and growl and im addicted to it - smart motorways the exception, but we have then here too, but i use my tom tom which tells me my av speed though smart cameras - very clever

This is quite reassuring, I'm glad im not the only one crazy enough to enjoy driving around with the roof down at night
In addition to cruise, I was thinking of getting it for mine but I tend to do most of my miles on a motorway to be honest but hopefully got a good European tour coming up with the better half so was thinking it might be worth it? Also she has a go at me for not having cup holders every time she has a drink in the car....feeling like im going to have to get some but the new OEM ones I found on Ebay come to a total of around £170 and I kinda like my kidneys where they are, don't fancy selling one anytime soon.

Correct, I don’t have cruise, forgot about that! I’m sure there’s a few more that I don’t even know about. Like you said, it’s not a major issue in Cumbria, I have it in my other car & only use it on motorways or when there are speed cameras about.

Correction and update on my alleged “flimsy” cupholders
I figured out that you have to adjust the side arm to get the cup to fit right
So, the cupholders are cool 8)
A forum member (l forget his tag name?) was kind enough to contact me with info and guide me to the cupholders proper use, ie, how to use the side arm.
So a big thanks to him :D
Hope this helps?
