Cummings vs Johnson

On a more serious note, I don’t particularly like either of them, they are playing political games for the benefit of themselves and the country is poorer for it. I admire Cummings more, in the same way that I prefer eating dog poo rather than cat poo, because at least he had conviction, now he’s gone Boris is a rudderless ship, with no ideas of his own and we’re still heading down the rapids too the waterfall.

I do know that the Cummings family "remote" farm house is within spitting distance of the A167 near to Durham.
ie not nearly so remote as he suggested!
That bit about the driving to test his eyesight, I’m in two minds whether that was his idea or the Boris’s marketing band wagon, Cummings is to savvy for that to wash, but you can see that Boris is still trying to peddle that the public will believe anything I say approach.

I mean Get Brexit Done worked a treat :fuelfire:

No right choices when it comes to voting in the UK. They all seem as bent as eachother. Cummins is doing the country a service showing us what really happens, i've no doubt there's a fair few tory backbenchers feeeding him this stuff, it seems quite a few want Boris out.

The only leader I had any respect for was Corbyn. I couldn't vote for him due to his policies but I had complete faith that he wouldn't have his mates getting lucrative public sector deals or use his power to butter up big companies to ensure that he has a nice comfy income as corporate events speaker and non exec director when his term was up.

I want a low tax system. Reduce the size of the public sector, scrap vanity projects like HS2, reduce migration and get rid of of these green policies that jack up the cost of living. Those should be core tory policies but under Bojo we've had the complete opposite.

I'll probably go back to voting for whoever Farage stands with next time unless cons have someone like Mogg in charge.

So do you want to stop people leaving the country, foreigners entering it or perhaps both? If you’re Sir Edward Leigh, then you don’t want to replace the European workers you got rid of with ones from India :poke:
Doesn’t matter that we need young people willing to work to cover the pension and welfare black hole that exists.
and don’t get me started on the environment, at this point if you haven’t seen enough proof to confirm global warming :headbang:

It's strange, I've always loathed Cummings, there is just so much to dislike about him and no redeeming factors at all as far as I can see.
Yet suddenly, he doesn’t seem so bad after all.......................

Reduce net migration closer to 0. The solution to falling labour market participation isn't to steal workers from other countries, but rather to train our own and pay people properly. Reduce handouts to people that dont work but increase income support.

And I don't doubt environmental damage. I just doubt the policies we have to tackle it are actually helpful.
The current bojo reforms are just lip service and only raise the cost of living for the working class.

Even his 'Westminster Scottish' accent is annoying. Weasley little git. I would rather listen to Blair than him and I 'kin hate Blair :D

The guy is made of Teflon

The saying that cockroaches would be the only thing left alive after a nuclear disaster needs correcting. Boris would still be alive running around with them.

I have a problem with the power that the unelected staff seem to have especially when they for all intents and purposes seem to be the piper who's tune the government seems to be marching. :headbang:

But when they expose the corruption, dishonesty and misconduct I am ok with that

So... how long till BJ hangs?

Il put a £1 on a week

Yup, just wait for the moment it seems like we transition from pandemic though, whether that be a multi-variant vaccine or whatever, then they'll be chomping at the bit to oust him and tell everyone that they would have done it better.

Politics is a depressing subject, isn't it?! On a positive note only 73 days 'til the clocks go forward!

I'm sick to death of the blame culture. No matter what happens folk want to blame someone with no thought of how or why. The scumbag BBC are the worst of the press. When something happens in the NHS the first thought now is who's to blame. Happens now in every walk of life. There's no tolerance or understanding any more. And as Pondy says a sense of humour is frowned upon with the woke, pc and pretend offended brigade. :x

Rant done.
