CTEK battery charger - which model?

I'm looking to buy a decent battery charger and CTEK are always mentioned on here. Done some initial research but still confused as to what model would best suit my needs.

Battery in my car is 70Ah so I'm probably better ignoring the xs800 model if I want to charge it and not just maintain it, but is there any advantage to the more expensive models?

Ta :)

I've been using an XS800 for 3 years on my Zed's and it does what it says on the tin. Fine for keeping topped up would take a while to charge from flat.

Why would you let your battery go flat though?

I've got the xs 3600 and it does a great job .looks like they have changed the serial numbers since I got mine.

I wouldn't. but somehow I've managed it with the e90

TBH I think the battery's past it's best (5yrs 76k miles), but my current cheap charger failed to revive it so I've got a new battery ready to fit. Just want to ensure I buy a suitable charger. I'm also likely to use it to charge the leisure batteries on my campervan when I think about it...

So your after a charger more than a maintainer then. MSX 3.6 looks to be the one in that case.

XS 0.8 = Battery capacity: 1.2 - 32Ah (charging), 100Ah (maintenence)

MXS 3.6 = Charges batteries up to approx 75Ah & conditions larger batteries up to 120Ah

Yep, that's sort of what I'm thinking. Cheers, I'll order later unless anyone can state a good reason for buying a higher/more expensive model...?

That's the one I have, now to convince me old man to leave it plugged in while I'm in the US so my replacement battery doesn't suffer in the coming months.

I have 4 of the CTEK XS3600 and they work great. I even fitted power sockets next to all the cars so it is a nice short fit as well.
