CSLs & warranties

Hello, long time reader, first time poster! :D

I'm about to buy another Z4M Coupe (I sold my last one a couple of years ago) from an independent dealer. For peace of mind (after much soul searching and research here) I've decided I'll probably buy a BMW warranty. On looking at the terms and conditions I see "no modifications" is listed. My question is, does anyone have any experience of the BMW warranty with a vehicle with CSL wheels (which is obviously a modification)?

Thanks,

I've had genuine CSL's on my car almost since I got it over 4 years ago and have had several warranty claims processed without question. The cars been on the extended warranty for 2 years with the wheels having been no barrier to any warranty work. Hope that helps.

It won't be a problem. They would have to prove the wheels caused the issue to reject a claim.
