I agree with sixspeed, been done to death now. Also i think you'd really struggle with resale and be forced to restore them to silver. And how would that make photos with Matt's car, your car and my car look? Bad, i reckon!

My M badges are off now too. Car's going in for an alignment on Monday and getting the wheels properly balanced. Should be sweet as after that.

I've seen those pics before and think they look spot on, and if I thought my car would look the same as the pics i'd be very tempted, BUT I'm not sure the effect will be quite the same on a dull overcast day here in blighty.

somewhere, I've seen a set of stock wheels in black and they look OK. I would be tempted to paint my spare set black as it usually looks good on a red car anyway, but if I had a set of CSLs I'd leave them some shade of silver.

It,s your ride,do with it what makes you happy! sometimes things in pictures don't look as well as they do in real life. Im a silver wheel man myself but have friends that have black...even purple rims
