Found these from a ex owner over in the states.

Would love some opinions on them. I think they are great but would be a big change.

Not usually my cup of tea but I like the look of that, think it's the blue painted rim that makes the difference for me. :thumbsup:
 
imho that looks complete CLASS!!! and more to the point unique!! fantastic an props to the gy for tryin sumet different!!
 
I probably shouldnt have voted....I bought his painted stock rims (painted exactly like above), and I love them. I think the blue lip really sets them off. I get compliments on the car all the time.

Ive noticed after a couple thousand miles that Im getting rock chips, Id suggest gettimgh them powder coated if possible. I believe that will give you a more durable finish!
 
IMO they look disgusting and mark you out as a boy racer 'stop me officer' type. Silver is best. But of course everyone has different tastes...

BTW, look at the awful orange peel on the car pictured above. This owner needs to get a professional polish done to sort it out.
 
That looks cool on that car.

I bought mine painted black and they looked a bit crap. Was the finish more than the colour. Had them restored back to original now and I am much happier.
 
It,s your ride,do with it what makes you happy! sometimes things in pictures don't look as well as they do in real life. Im a silver wheel man myself but have friends that have black...even purple rims :thumbsup:
 
TBH, not my cup of tea. The pin-stripe, "time-attack" rim style has been done to death over the last few years, and is starting to look a bit tired now IMO.
 
I found them on my travels and initially thought wow they are awesome but they are just to much for me.

If the car only came out at weekends though it may be a different story :evil:
 
I agree with sixspeed, been done to death now. Also i think you'd really struggle with resale and be forced to restore them to silver. And how would that make photos with Matt's car, your car and my car look? Bad, i reckon!
 
i like them, go for it :thumbsup: who cares if its be done before, if you like it thats all that matters, end of the day its a paint job that can be changed later
