Just located another genuine set for sale. I've had pics through showing all relevant marks are in place, put an offer in subject to a visual inspection and had it accepted. Fingers crossed I don't get gazumped.

He's asking £1800 on eBay. I made him an offer that he accepted over email but not on eBay. If you want an introduction and are prepared to spend £1600 on them (he's had another offer on eBay of that amount) I can give you his details
I think they're worth it at that price. Four new Contisports would be 800+ so you're getting the wheels for around 800 also (only when bought together of course)

Back to plan A, I'll probably get the existing ones refinished in shadow chrome which I like very much. It's not that I can't afford them, but I have to be sensible with outgoings. *sigh*
