Forum bidding war - Thread title on an M3 board somewhere "CSL wheels sell for record amount!"

On PH today, I saw someone with a CSL had their wheels and CF Airbox stolen.

Make sure these are legit if buying.

Also make sure you get them locked on well if you have CSL wheels. Seems the pikeys have cottoned on to CSL bits being rare, expensive and sought after!

I wondered if he had 2 sets. Track set maybe. Or winter set. Doesn't really say specifically

Ye officially you can buy CSL wheels from BMW if you have a CSL serial number.

Although some don't.

You need better glasses. The writing is there, including the important BMW text. Seems genuine to me.

I may need to put a couple more locking wheel nut sets on my car :|

I've put the owner of the stolen wheels and airbox onto the advert. Hope they're his TBH. "Spare set" doesn't sound likely.

When I got mine the guy had 2 sets, sold his CSL and these were the other set, it may just be the way they Roll

Not a fan of the ET 27 rear offset on non M's... But if you get it i'd be happy to take your M wheels off you... I fancy a change for next winter

I used to regularly check on the CSL forum and spare sets were quite common. Those who could afford a CSL could afford a spare set or three.

Thanks for the headsup - but i (wrongly?) thought they would have the same fitting as the Z4M wheels, by which the rears would protude slightly?

Same here the guy I bought them from had a few weekend cars he raced bought a lighter set for his CSLs and I bought them off him.

I doubt they were stolen. You can buy them.

Nope!

9.5 with et27 i think... Much more aggressive. While the stock M wheels hide within the arches on an M... So fit flush on non M's.

They will def fit... But you prob wont like the look :lol:
