Been watching these for a while now, anyone know why these aren't selling...? They look genuine, and scrapes can be easily fixed(?).

Initial bid of £1300 may be making people a bit cautious... but, as there are 22 watchers and no active bidders, there may be a certain amount of sniping planned.

Probably because they're £1820, I think that they are genuine too.
I agree with that - a BiN of over £1800 is unlikely to make people jump in and buy...

...but they may be waiting hoping to pick them up for under £1400 when the auction ends this evening

I am 99% certain they are genuine (checking against the forum guide  ), with tyres also I was afraid I was missing something...

You can pick up brand new for £1700 (OK not with tyres), but he doesn't mention the condition of the tyres.

Not sure how much a decent refurb costs, but I'd say 1300 is probably about right.

He says tyres have done 4000 miles IIRC, unless it was 4000 1/4 miles there should be fair chunk of tyre left?

From a few of those pictures, IMO was a very hard & fast 4000 miles

To be fair, he does say the *wheels* have done 4000 miles, no mention of the tyres - it's quite possible that they were used as track day wheels and the tyres have done relatively few miles but are still legal even if well worn

15 mins to go and no bids....

Could this be an opportunity for another 'Oooh Shiney!' moment for Mr Truman?

No bids, item not sold, hopefully he will relist again...

I asked for some more details of tread depth but he never responded in time :(

Next time they are mine...!

Relisted immediately - starting bid of £1300, BiN of £1820 same as before

Relisted but I am out of the country on the date it finishes.... NNNNNnnnnnnooooooooo!!!
He hasn't been getting bids so you could always try making him an offer

Was thinking that but the security of going through eBay is a must I think...
You can still do it that way, if he agrees to an offer he just had to change the listing to add the 'or best offer' option - you may have to agree to cover the eBay fees though ad he wouldn't have to pay those with a cash transaction

To me they are sooooooo expensive for damaged wheels. Guess I should have invested in a new set a couple of years ago when they were sold new for about £1300 without tyres.

Really? What do you think is a good price...?

My thinking was they are £1800 for brand new set from BMW and then you have tyres on top. Only issue I can see with these is the two scrapes...

Mind you thinking about it, if I need new tyres on these then new ones look more viable...
