CSL’s 17” - pics anyone?

Anyone running 17” CSLs on their Zed?

I’m keeping an eye out for some cheap reps and my default was 18’s. However I’ve found some on a 1 series for sale but they are 17” and wondered if size matters!?

Sorry I don't but assuming you'd run 17s with higher profile tyres the only real difference is going to be the depth of the sidewalls! I'd be more concerned about getting offset(s) that would work.

I'm guessing they would be for your 3.0i as I'm not sure a 17 would fit over the front brakes on an M.

That’s right Mr Tidy. I hadn’t even considered offsets but just cosmetically whether the bigger tyre wall and smaller rim would impact the overall look.

Having had standard 16’s in the past I really wasn’t keen. I think I’ll just hold out for 18’s to pop up somewhere.

Like you I'm not convinced 17s would look that good, and there do seem to be plenty of 18" Reps around - I sold a set on here a couple of years ago.
