I'm planning to get em too. Beautiful wheels!
Are there any problems with the CSL replicas? Coating or strength?

When my RFT wear out, I'm replacing with Falken 452's and a new set of alloys, CSL, M6 reps are two ony my list, want to keep my 108's mint.

big question for me is this one. I really would like a set of 19" CSL reps with staggered set up, that gives a dish on the rears like the originals. i am told and can not get any further than this is not available in 19" only 18" staggered setup is available in NON M car setup..????

Plowy you sound like me in trying to keep the staggered setup

None of the OEM CSL/ZCP or CSL replica wheels have dish.

Are you talking about the "concavity" on the OEM CSL/ZCP rear wheels? If it's the concavity you're talking about, none of the CSL replicas (18" or 19", for either regular Z'or Z4M's) are quite as concave as the OEM ZCP/CSL ones. CSL reps with more aggressive offets intended for the Z4M obviously are more concave than the CSL reps intended for the regular Z's. But if you have a regular Z4, whether it's 18" or 19", there's not much difference if the offsets are the same.

This is what i am talking about, these are reps bought in the uk and fitted to an M3, as you can see they are what i call 'dished, you call 'concave, these are 19's, the supplier can only get these in an offset that fits M cars ?/, i think these ones are a 20mm offset on the rear which i am told will only fit the Z4M and not regular Z's and i would really like a set of these to fit my car but cannot get, by the way they are 9" rears and 8" fronts, the fronts will fit but not the rears...

That's called concave.

This is what's called dished.

Probably not preferrable, but you can always put four 8" wide wheels front and back if you have to have the 19" version. Are you able to get 18" CSL reps with regular Z4 offsets over there?

Plowy

I believe because our rear axle is longer than on an ///M that this is the reason you wont find these wheels with dished face.

No Doubt somebody will prove me wrong though.

Your quite right, the Z axle is wider than the M3. I got away with fitting originals because I fitted the M3 rear axle and front hubs.

so what do we make of these then.... :?

Still too aggressive for a regular Z4. You'd have been better off putting OEM CSL's on your car.

Try checking with EAS. http://www.europeanautosource.com/product_info.php?products_id=873

They do ship to UK IIRC.

how can these look to aggressive and original OEM's not?

the visual difference must be minimal

I was talking about the wheel offsets being too aggressive, not the visual difference.

And strictly talking about the Velocity Motoring CSL reps, despite the rears being 19x9.5 ET22, they're still less concave than the OEM ZCP's/CSL's.
