CSL wheels colour choices

Guys,

Please can I have some advice. I just bought some used genuine CSL wheels :) and plan to have them refurbed and painted. Any suggestions/pictures on what shade I should go for. I'm liking shadow chrome, or gumetal gloss. Pictures would be great.

I drive an Imola Red Z4M Coupe.

I like the look of Raifys car, hope you dont mind me posting a pic :)

i went for Gunmetal and i swear the car looks like a different car!! i keep promising to get proper pics tho to show the colour. ive only got ones wheres its getting dar but ill post em anyway.
 
IMO they are too dark - hides the lines of the wheel too much.... maybe just the pictures though :idunno:
 
I think you should be wanting to powder coat rather than painting. Paint will chip (from experience).
Either standard CSL silver or like Raify's.
Red cars suit black wheels but I agree the design will get lost.
 
Ok I'm a bit of a noob at this didn't realise there was a difference. The wheels I have bought are already black so will see what they look like then make my decision.

After looking at some more pics on here I think i may just refurb them to their original colour. They look pretty awesome stock and I want to keep my Coupe original looking.
 
Raifys car looks great with that colour wheel. i would go for the shadow chrome/gunmetal, its just my opinion but i think it makes the wheels look great, not too dark to see the detail but no too light that they stand out over the rest of the car
