CSL wheels? are these ones real. Seem cheap

It's just my "if it's too good to be true" indicator is going ten to the dozen here..

Same here. It does seem a little odd that the same set apparently fetched close to £1295 on eBay and is now for sale at less than £895.

Either:
- The £1295 was a genuine bid but the sale never completed. If this was simply a 'non paying bidder' then wouldn't the seller want to try and achieve a similar price? Or the bidder went to collect and the wheels were found out to be not as described hence the seller lowering the price accordingly.
- Or the seller was using dummy account(s) to inflate the winning bid. But then, why inflate the price to £1295 and then only ask for £895 2nd time round?

This seller also seems to sell lots of wheels/tyres so wouldn't he have a good idea of true market value for these? Which again just begs the question - why so cheap?

It may just be that he has had them hanging around for a while and after having a couple of sales fall through, now just want a quick sale.

No risk no reward though - could be a bargain, could be a bum deal. You'll have to pay the chap a visit and have a good look (even then its impossible to tell the true condition until you get them on a wheel balancer).

If they are still around after payday I may have to go and have a mooch myself :D

I'm officially out,

Was mega tempted, but it's quite a distance for me, and that advert is word for word what is on that eBay add.

Tempting, but I think its too cheap.
