CSL Replicas

Aren't the high quality CSL reps properly staggered and available in an offset to suit non-M models?

Ie, they fit and retain the standard track widths and replace the usual 18" staggered non-M setup on all BMW's?

I have forgotten who does them now, but they do 18" and 19" in both staggered/non-staggered non-M offset varieties, BMW M tuning or something?!

Anything that changes the OEM offsets isn't ideal imo... I'd ALWAYS go for reps if the original CSL's don't come in an offset to suit your non-M model, which they don't :D

Agree and reckon I should be fine with the non-M offset I've ordered. Dont anticipate any issues with them and will take some pics and post once fitted.

Can anybody recommend a correct/preferred pressure for non-RFT tyres though? Also, do I need to sort my existing tyre pressure warning sensors out too or will the be fine left as is?

Bumping question...

What sort of PSI/Bar do people run on non-RFT's; and do I have to sort anything with re: my tyre sensors, i.e. will they be affected by the change in boots?.

Someone on here said that you can get a good starting point by reading the default tyre pressure from the recommended tyre and load rating and adjusting based on any different load rating of the tyre you are fitting... adjusting by 1psi be difference in load rating number. Im no expert though so take that with a pinch of salt

Think the forum member I remember reading that from was EdButler but again I could be wrong...

Just found the link from Ed. He says...

Use the load rating to compare tyres. I.e. if your RFT's are 225/45 R17 88Y, the 88Y is your load rating. As a rule, for every one you go up, you drop 1 psi. Therefore my Falkens are 92Y, so i drop the stock pressures by 4... 33/36 goes to 29/32. I actually opt for 30/32 however, like many on here :)

I don't think I've ever seen any reps or aftermarket wheels that fit your criteria in respect of offsets.
I don't see why there is a problem with the offsets on these particular wheels?

Ordered Monday through BMA and Camskill retrospectively. Wheels and tyres now arrived

Fitting next weekend along with new M-Sport MFSW.

The company that sounds like BMW M Sport or similar (London based, do OEM Z4 M bonnet/bumper/quad conversions etc) have replica staggered 19" CSL's in the offsets that are correct for non-M BMW models (ie, they replace any 18" staggered wheel sets for non-M BMW's)

Iirc, they were about £850 for the set!?

I have no idea what the right offsets are, or what the wheels in the OP are, but keeping the track widths the same is really quite important. Change them and loads of stuff changes, some of which is pretty important to nice handling!

Nice, I had staggered CSL 18" Reps from the same place for my 3 series. Very nice wheels!

They look very good indeed. Am desperate to fit mine now and can't wait for Saturday to come around. Wheels and new MFSW so its going to be a rather wheel themed day. Already prewarned the girlfriend she 'might get a bit bored'

will these fit my car (non-M)?

No unfortunately the rear offsets are too low.
They have been fitted with those offsets to a non M.
Check it out HERE

Okay, its a pic from my iPhone so excuse the quality/contrast etc but thought I'd stick an early pic up of my new wheels on the car. Love the new slightly more forgiving ride quality and IMO think they look the business

Now just need to sort out my non functioning MFSW!

Thanks! Will do. Replaced the standard 17" 103's (? Think that's what they were)
