Some more info here: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57226 (note CSL front camber is -1.45deg, not what it says in the table)
I was interested in the CSL set up and ended up somewhere in between a stock Z4MC alignment and the CSL one, on the advice of the specialist. Less front neg (-1.3deg), less rear toe (0deg14). I didn't want to go as far as the CSL in terms of toe-in at the back because of the shorter wheelbase. It's quite a bit shorter - nearly 10%. The front camber is at the bottom of the adjustable range for me but, as above, you might have an issue, even if you've already pulled your camber pins.
Having done it, I can see why people think the handling is messed up from the factory. Turn-in already very strong, but the back is essentially immobile until you really chuck it in or use the throttle, at which point it breaks away very fast. Not a nice feeling compared to something like an Elise or Cayman. Adding front -ve camber (which is what I had done previously) feels great, but just makes the overall handling worse, unless you have another good reason for doing it, e.g. tyre wear on track. Plus you get more tramlining.
