Cruisin' for a Cure, 2008

It's the same weekend (9-27-08) as the C&C "zoom zoom" drive, and I'm planning on attending both. Should be a great day. For those that don't know, Cruisin' is an annual car show that swamps the OC Fairgrounds and all the proceeds go to prostate cancer research. One of my favorite aspects of the show is that they set up a cruising loop inside the fairgrounds so you get to hear all the hot rods as they burble around and rev their engines. As anyone who goes to C&C knows, hearing the cars is every bit as interesting as seeing them.

Cruisin' for a Cure lasts until 5pm, so there's no reason to ditch the C&C drive. Do both!
 
I will be attending as well. Might need some of that research some day. :roll:
 
Just curious but what is the "C&C" thing that appears to be the same day as the OC fairgrounds event? Just curious?

The C&C event is an event instead of the normal one. The road is a priviate road that can not normally be driven. This happens once a year and they charge 10.00 which is a donation for the fire department.

Both events should be a great time.

Are you planning on attending?
 
Hey IAMZ4N this sounds like fun? Wasnt aware of it? so what does one have to do to pay their monies and drive in...or is there a meeting place for several to make the drive there? I read the flyer regarding the showtime, judging etc....so I take it get there as early as possible? Are you going?
