I know this has been covered in the past but can someone give me a link to fitting cruise control to 2008 N54 please
 
Best advice I can give you is buy the cruise control wiring from SRHutch and he’ll provide you with excellent installation instructions. Have you got yourself the cruise control lever? It’s an easy upgrade to install.
