Not mine, but I've found this listing online, worth a punt for anyone trying to get cruise control stalk?

Interesting, I believe just the stalk itself is required is that right?

It’s a £30 saving so worth it.

I’ve got two indicator, wiper and slip rings in the garage through buying the above.

Just fitted cruise to my 2003 E85, just the stalk was needed and just plug and play. I believe for E86 you need to fit the wiring... someone will be better to advise than myself

Good price - I imported exactly the same thing (slip ring and indicators etc) from the US and ended up paying roughly the same after import duties etc. The cheapest I could find a new one was £110.51 with forum discount from Sopers.

Am I right in thinking pre October 2004 e85 cars have cruise control installed and all you need is this control stalk?

The early cars were pre wired, just plug and play. You just cut out the lower cover, which is already marked on the inside.
Take the lower cover off and you should see a spare plug on the LHS of the column

I think you might be slightly confused, E86 isn't a facelift thing.

E85 = roadster
E86 = coupe

As above cars built before Oct 04 should have the wiring.

Can't decide whether to spend £££ on Cruise Control as my car's a 2005 with missing wiring

Do you just use the speedo to set it or is it done with computer display?

srhutch do you still do the complete wiring loom for retrofit and how much including postage?

And finally what does the SI refer to?
