I just fitted a pattern one from ebay ...i think it was around the £90 mark.

I don't think they cost much more than £100 from BMW. Sopers of Lincoln and Cotswold BMW give a discount to froum members.
Or you might get a used one a bit cheaper from a breaker like Quarry Motors.
If your car doesn't have the wiring in place (I don't think any did after 2004) forum moderator "srhutch" can make up the section of loom you need for beer money.
Good luck anyway - it's handy to have in these days of average speed cameras.
