I got my cruise control stalk from BMW last week - £66.00
I was gutted to have bought it just after someone posted about cheap OEM parts with the stalk being offered at £57.00 but nevermind
I thought about getting the pre-cut cowling aswell but not at over £80!?
I have to say, this has to be ones of the easiest mods I have ever done on a car: undo one screw, unclip cowling, slide stalk onto bracket, connect plug, cut and sand cowling, re-fit cowling and test
I understand that the retrofit is a little more involved in terms of the wiring on post April 04 cars, so glad that mine is Dec 03....
A friend of mine lent me his Dremmel today at work to cut the cowling, and below are the results of my DIY, not perfect but good enough.
I will post up another pic tonight with the cowling re-fitted to the car. Well worth the money in my opinion.
