Cruise control retrofit possible and recommendations please

Can someone please share if it is possible to fit CC to a 2007 Coupe? I would not be attempting to do the work myself so, if possible please also recommend any good fitters in/near E London area. I tried searching, which didn't give me much regarding this on later Z's.

Have a read of the thread in my sig.. the initial howto is for pre-facelift, but there are additional comments for the post-facelift.
it's pretty easy to do..

It is possible, parts less than £100 from Sopers. Quite an easy job if you're handy with crimps, which are all supplied. Fiddly to get into the engine bay but not worth paying anyone to do it for you, IMO.

I have a feeling that it won't be cheap. I could do it in under 2 hours now I've done it once. If you do find something reasonable don't let them fob you off that it needs coding, it doesn't. How desperate are you to get it done? I'm up to London every other weekend, happy to do it if we could find a mutually convenient time. Can also do any SSS options while I'm there.

The Coupe I am hopefully buying is what this is for, but I am not in a absolute hurry to have it done, I might take you up on your offer however thanks ! .

I will ask the dealer selling me the car to recommend some firm that does the retrofits for them and try and work something out with that company 1st if possible.

See what they offer, as I said though, it's a 2 hour job if you know what you're doing, I've heard of quotes for 4 hours. Don't buy a new lower steering column either, that just needs cutting out with a hacksaw, definitely not worth the £150 charged by BMW.
