Cruise Control in 2005 pre-facelift E85?

Not had a chance to look under the steering cowling yet for sings of any pre-installed wiring, but what are the chances of my 2005 pre-facelift being ready for plug and play cruise control? First registered March 2005, but I’ve read on here that they stopped including the prep from 2004.onwards.

If its not present in my car, is the wiring loom needed easy to retrofit along with the standard stalk installation?

On the first point I think you are out of luck,
.
On the second point, get a loom from srhutch, which comes with full instruction. No more than a one hour job to feed through / wire up the loom and not technically difficult, plus a bit more to cut out the relevant section of the lower cowl (marked on the inside, 10 minutes if you have a dremel and a file)
