Cruise Control Arm and cup holders wanted!

Hi,

As the advert says on the tin, Looking for a cruise control arm (pre Oct 04) and retrofit cup holders.
Or any Ideas where I can acquire such items at a decent price?

I shall give him a call. I doubt I'll get the kit cheaper really. I suppose its always a gamble with breakers yards and electronics. I'll keep looking but that sounds like a good bet :thumbsup:

as you said,as it is not that expensive and brand new,makes more sense.I will be ordering my Cruise later on in August.
 
After residing on buying new, a car breaker has finally emailed me back and has one for 30 quid. What do you recon? :?

it's your call to be honest,but as it is only £27 cheaper,I would personally buy the new one,but that's me.
 
I bought a one from a breaker for £35 delivered and it has been fine.


check all of the connections before you put it in to make sure they havent damaged it on removal and yu should be ok :thumbsup:
 
Speaking to the guys on the phone at the breakers yard earlier, it all seemed like I was an inconvenience to them! They really didn't seem to bothered at all really. So I just rang Joe at Lincoln and ordered it! £57.75 delivered. Should be here tomorrow (if royal mail 1st class actually works!) Not bad for a new part and a bit more piece of mind. But I would have like to save £25! But I suppose alot better than BMWs £150!

Well can you believe it, Royal mail came up trumps! I fitted my cruise today! I took advise from a few on here and disconnected the battery first. As expected I lost the clock and MPG etc, But also my one touch auto windows! Well, they go down with one click. But don't come up with one as they used to! Any ideas? Just need to cut the slot in the cowl now and I'm done!

Disconnect the battery for 60 mins then reconnect - I had the same sort of issues when I did mine the other day and the above sorted it.
 
Thanks for that. It was all very strange tho. I went out after reading your posts and started the car to sort out the windows. I tried winding them down and the auto window function is back! Madness! Think she's possessed. Or just happy I'm adding cruise control! Thanks for everyones help once again.
