Cool - you can mod the cowl in about 10 minutes. There is a real neat moulding line on it and you just have to cut away the bulk with a junior saw and file or dremmel back to the line. Thats it.

Mine is a 53 reg and it only took me 10min. I couldn't beleive it was so straight forward. With the cutting of the cowl you can't go wrong really cause its too obvious where it needs cutting. Rudd_2002 go and get the switch and if you got a junior hacksaw and file or a dremel do it yourself and save yourself a packet.

Fantastic job there dremelling it out!

Thanks, forgot to say I also put a couple of layers of electrical tape round the outside of the cut out section just in case of an accident with the Dremmel. Luckily it wasn't needed but was just playing it safe.

Fitted my CC the other day. Easy peasy, also very intuitive to use. Pity there is no light on the dashboard when it is engaged.

When cutting the lower cowling the markings are farher out than you need to cut so don't follow them religiously like I was planning to. Luckily my first cut wasn't as deep as it could have been and there is only a micro bit of a gap showing.

Cool - BTW you know the rule - 'measure twice, cut once'
